Snapchat's Redesigned Redesign Starts Rolling out to iOS Users - arnoldbutile

Snapchat's John Roy Major redesign, which the company rolling out last year, wasn't particularly well received by users all around the world. Despite the tumultuous disturbance, the company pushed on with the redesign for a distich of month. However, late last calendar month, reports revealed that Snapchat had started testing a redesign of its redesign with a small fraction of its users.

Now, according to a Recent epoch report from The Verge, the companion has started rolling out the second redesign to a majority of iOS users. The update was initiatory announced by Snap's CEO Evan Spiegel during the company's first quarter net profit call earlier this month. At the time, Spiegel aforementioned:

"We learned that combining watching Stories and communication with friends into the same place made it harder to optimize for some competing behaviors. We are currently tumbling out an update to address this by sorting communication by recency and flaring Stories from friends to the precise side of the application, while maintaining the functional changes we have ready-made around separating friends from creators and categorization friends' Stories by relationships."

With the new redesign, Snaps and Chats connected the app will once again go hinder to the chronological order and Stories from friends will return to the right sidelong of the app. Yet, like the old redesign, Stories from friends leave remain separate from content posted past brands.

The latest redesign also brings a disunite Subscriptions feed, which will allow users to easy search for Stories from favourite creators and publishers. As of now, the update is reverberating out to "the majority" of iOS users, but IT's not known when it will come to Android.
